My Bad
RE: O’Rourke slanders against President Trump....
I agree although I only heard portions on the radio.
I hear O’Rourke repeat the lie that the President liked people on both sides in the Charlottesville confrontation—when he knows it was both sides of the Confederate statue controversy. And I hear him calmly and calculatingly lie that the President is obviously a racist and that he wants to inflame the people and implies he is the source of the mass shootings.
At that moment my anger level meter goes into the upper red zone.
AllI can hope is the 62,979,636 good people * in America agree with me and will enlist at least some people from the undecideds to save our great republic from disaster.
*The people mentioned above are the Trump voters in 2016.
What is going on here involves a basic question about what is worse.... Doing something that is obviously wrong? Or saying that a good man or woman did something wrong when in fact they did nothing of the sort? The media and the DemonRats have forgotten one basic fact.... God wrote all of the Ten Commandments including Exodus 20:16: “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.”
Oh... and one more thing....
Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
It’s time that Christians en masse call this kind of behaviour out for what it. O’Rourke isn’t just exaggerating, obfuscating or clouding the issue...he isn’t just lying. He is “bearing false witness” and that is nothing short of pure sin.
Excellent post. False witness is worse than lying. You're right.
Does he even know what authenticity and the truth are any longer?
O'Rourke's hair style was deliberately designed by a hair stylist so he remind voters of Robert F. Kennedy. He watched RFK videos over and over daily and worked on mimicking his every look, expression and movement. His "Beto" name is to fake Latinos out. Until Warren he probably never thought of faking being a Native American for more votes. Too late. What's next? Blackface like the young guy in the movie Soul Man?
