Comey broke the law - undisputed. What does intent have to do with it?
I would think that his actions in releasing the memo would verify intent. Why not let a jury decide?

Because if the jury lets him off...it just takes one...it will be a massive political victory for the Deep State and Left. And likely it would then taint everything that might happen after as a witch hunt.
They can’t afford to come out of the box with a loss. When they go after these people it has to be substantial and it has to be iron-clad.

That’s 16, without another set of parentheses.
8*.5*4 = 16

I disagree for this reason: even if they couldnt get him (a conviction) they must begin indicting these people & force them to burn some wealth just as they did to all of Trumps people.
As pointed out, it’s not like it was the only case against Comey. It was merely one of the weakest ones.
You’re right. They need to start rolling them up, but not with the weakest cases against a given individual.

Yep. Parenthetical first.
8/1 * 1/2 * (2+2)/1
and then numerator as a set, and denominators as a set.
8 * .5 * 4 = 16
If you don’t do it that way, then you can’t properly solve for the equation as a whole.

Yep, I agree. Gotta be patient. The Swamp would’ve loved for Barr to open on a technicality against Comey. It instantly would have soured public opinion.
This was a landmine avoided IMO.

That makes sense. Thanks.

The decision not to prosecute former FBI Director James Comey over his deliberate leaks to the media isnt a sign of weakness or lack of will, but of the professionalism and well-reasoned restraint of President Trumps Department of Justice.

The basic DC Swamp assumption is that public officials( elite nobility ) should be held to a lower standard than the public at large. Shouldn't the opposite be true?
Public officials seem to get the benefit of the doubt is all cases but the public is assumed guilty.

Meanwhile, even our media (Fox) has been pushing RUSSIA!! And Mueller! 24/7 for three years instead of #FusionCollusion. I understand what you are saying but you IMHO are missing a really big part of the picture. Eventually people will have enough of being gaslit by the Brown Shirt Media, or they wont.
