It may be that Graham is finally waking up to who (and what) is on the other side of the aisle. We want to believe that people with a certain level of accomplishment and education are decent people; after all, I and most everyone I know are decent people, right?
When you are dealing with folks that have a radically different definition of what “decent” actually means, you get surprised and offended sometimes that _________ would even be CAPABLE of doing _________, let alone going to _____________ as the first option... maybe Kavanaugh and some of the other crap he’s seen first hand over the last 2+ years is getting to him.
That could be.
But I do think that combined with Trump has changed him.

Any body who believes that most people will do the right thing just because it’s the right thing is a fool.
All people act in their own best interests; whether it’s sex, money, or votes.
Just the people are.
