Maunder may take another cycle. But this year's sunspots are plenty low, as low as 2009 and 2009-10 was a severe winter in the east. Ironically however there is more chance of La Nina in a couple years. That will cool global temperatures but give us summer heat waves due to the pattern.

Bottom line the warmists will pivot to US temperatures as global temperatures drop more.
