Nope, never fun at all. But when they’re so sick, releasing them is the best thing to do. I was with him when he was born and with him at the end and we had 15 years in between. He had a good life until the last two or three weeks so no regrets.
I’m still pinching myself on the new job. I just hope I’m up to the task and don’t let him down. I’ve never done anything like this before. Couldn’t get my feet wet with a local gig. Nope, had to jump right in on a US Congressional race. YIKES!!

I got most folks. LOL! Not many are insane enough to take in so many kittehs. Hubby’s as much of a cat-lover as I am so the cats that show up here are lucky. Once they’re here, it’s til death do we part. We give none away.
That commercial is my all-time favorite. And it sure feels just like that around here at times!

The other two, I do pretty much on my own schedule and it gives me something to do. That makes up for not being paid. :-)
