It’s a pretty safe bet the bug’s gone if you’ve had no ill effects for this long. Just eat gentle-on-the-tummy foods at first - - that soup, soda crackers, dry toast, some Gatorade to sip on.

Sometimes I wish I didn’t have all these cats because I’d love to have a parrot. They’re smart and fun.
I did have a conure for several years that was given to me by a friend. He’d taken the bird from people he knew who abused it but couldn’t keep it himself.
There was no training Radu because he never fully trusted me. Those people must have really been mean to him. The bare hand was the enemy but if I wore a leather gardening glove, I could handle him a little.
I had him for 12 or 13 years before he got pneumonia and died. This old house just wasn’t warm enough for him one winter when it got very cold.
I miss that little bird, even if he did have a tendency to bite. That’s why I named him Radu, after my favorite vampire. LOL
