This was nothing but a political stunt. The “teeter totter” was painted boards- put up for photos and then removed. It has not been reported why they painted them pink but am sure there was a message intended.

I heard the funny part was they expected tons of children to show up from both sides of the border and only a handful participated. Seems most parents on both sides didn’t want their children to be part of their stunt.
