Yep, another hot, muggy day with more to come. Par for the course this time of year.
At least I didn’t have to get out in the heat. Just puttered around the house doing some cleaning. Such an exciting day.
Good evening, radu...a little rain overnight. Then a couple times with enough sprinkles to wet the street, but not enough to wet the spot under parked cars.
But we are grateful for every drop.

Sorry the nice weather didn’t last longer. It never seems to. I’m glad you didn’t have to get out in it. It’s still 84 here and will just get hotter through the week. Blech!
Just checked on the Q-Tips....li’l darlin’s. A bit of pecking but nothing vicious. Yet.
It would have been nice if there’d been more rain but every little drop counts.
It looked like the Kenai was getting a decent dose earlier but I don’t know if it’s where the fires have been. It looks like it’s all hanging up in the mountains right now, both down there and up by Anchorage.
Getting a little antsy, are we? LOL

Well, except for the flying part. It’s too bad they aren’t closer so you could drive.
Yeah, it would have been nice if the comfy weather had stuck around a while longer but we’re glad we got the brief spell of relief that we got. It’s not too bad outside tonight at least. We were over at the other house for a bit and when we got back, Simon was on the back porch hoping for a bite to eat. I sat out there with him a little while, enjoying the cool and listening to the katydids.
I’ve checked on the cuties Down Under off and on throughout the day and am glad to see those two getting along so well. The younger one has been the aggressor more often than the older one when there is a little pecking going on.
As long as Dad keeps the food coming, they should be ok. He and Lady are keeping those two stuffed.
I'm still up and at 'em but with a stomach virus this morning. Taking it easy for awhile.

A stuffed baby is a happy baby. That has got to be their new motto. LOL!
I am antsy. I always get this way before a trip, especially a flying one. I don’t trust the TSA. No way. No how. :)
Maybe in a month the weather will start its turn to cooler and not so humid. We can hope anyhow, huh. Meanwhile you will have a home with really nice AC to enjoy!
Nope, tummy bugs are NO fun at all! I feel for you.
Lady feeds those lil babies so often, they aren’t really hungry when she does. It’s like she’s finally figured out that’s the way to keep the peace between the kiddos. It’s working well so far.
Lady’s a bit perturbed with Dad at the moment because he just showed up and snagged leftovers to snack on. Now he needs to hustle to catch another fish for the kiddos to eat or stay with them while she goes off to hunt.
At least you WILL fly, even though it makes you uneasy. Knowing what’s at the other end of the flight makes it worth it though.
Of course, there’s the return flight.
We have a little over a month of hot weather to get through. If it doesn’t get any worse than we’ve had so far, it won’t be too bad. We’ve had summers that were quite a bit hotter so I’m not complaining ..... much. LOL
Shoo, at the rate things are going, we’ll need to turn on the heat when we move to the other house. Hubby isn’t exactly hustling at this point.
Where’s that cattle prod when ya need it? LOL! Is Clara’s house finally cleared? I never did ask. Also...is she still hangin’ in there.
Ooooo....Dad’s gonna get a piece of Lady’s mind if he keeps that up. He can go catch his own fish. LOL!
