Because I am, as I type, 69 years old. I grew up in Baltimore, loved it, loved it, beautiful inner harbor, great waterfront.....loved it, worked everywhere in its confines.
Guess who I spent, well some time with during my Baltimore days?

It’s an old story and most who know me are probably bored. But my father was shop steward for Baltimore carpenters union 101. As such the mayor would often hire him to work on his house in Little Italy. My brother and I, around 9 and 10 at the time, would sometimes accompany my father, help with tools, clean up.
The Mayor of Baltimore at that time was...TADA...Mayor D’alesandro, Nancy’s father!
I’d see Nancy often, just a few years older than me. She had everything, father the mayor, crisp pleated skirts of her Catholic school, begging her mother and buttering her father and...
....ok, let me take a breath.
Anyway, somebody on these political shows should point out how Nancy Pelosi is from Baltimore with a father and a brother that were once Mayors.
Now when Nancy was in Little Italy Baltimore was beautiful. Unlike good ole Elijah, Nancy didn’t steal the taxpayer money and let the city run down.
Baltimore was prosperous, the “monumental” city it is called.
But she never took some time to figure out what the hell Elijah was doing to her town so filled with her fingerprints.
If nothing else, you folks on FreeRepublic know that Baltimore and its sad self (my granddaughter lives there now and I worry about her all the time) are the result of Elijah’s thievery and Nancy’s dismissal.
Which illustrates the problem. These rat nests got that way cause you failed to criticize and prosecute crooked leaders.
The Feds have the goods on him and his wife, Thump will telegraph the go-ahead at a time of his choosing.
You probably remember when Nancy was Miss Firefighter (if memory serves correctly) in Baltimore as a young woman.
Why is it that the left always wants to change the subject? The substance of the comment by President Trump was that Baltimore, as reported by USA Today, is the murder capital of the USA. That it has been rat infested has been known and reported on for years. How much money has been pouring into Cummings district and why are there no results in the form of reduced crime and reduced misery? Where is the money going?
Nancy does not want to address the substance of Trump's comments because her own district is characterized by rodent infestation, human excrement, crime, and murder. Her deplorable district is an embarrassment to our great country. Her roots are in Baltimore.
Exactly what is racist about Trump's comments? Is he incorrect about the miserable conditions in Baltimore? Does Cummings have a program to eliminate the crime and misery? If Cummings has a program why is it a failure? What happened to the money?
It tickles my memory...yes.
