House Speaker Nancy Pelosi brushed aside reporters on Capitol Hill who were waiting in the wings as she emerged from her meeting with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Friday, annoyed they didn't want to talk about actual issues.

Yet, what did she expect? Pelosi and AOC's feud has dominated headlines for several months now. They reside at different ends of the party's ideological spectrum, and Ocasio-Cortez has often criticized Pelosi for stifling her progressive agenda and the voices of other minority female freshmen.
So, yes, most of the reporters at the press conference following her meeting wanted to know how it went. Was the hatchet buried?
"I don’t think there was any hatchet," Pelosi said.
She continued to clarify that she has much "joy" in "seeing the diversity in our caucus."
In an exchange with another reporter who asked about AOC, Pelosi explained that all families have fights, before praising the freshman lawmaker as being "very gracious."

But the two have also been at odds over whether or not the party should begin impeachment proceedings against President Trump. Ocasio-Cortez wants to move ahead, while Pelosi has stalled.
"Are you running out the clock?" on impeachment, CNN's Manu Raju asked the Speaker, rather pointedly.
"Let's get sophisticated about this," Pelosi responded frustratingly to the question.
Raju explained on CNN following the presser that he asked the question because members of the Democratic Caucus have shared those concerns with him. As Rep. Jackie Speier said Friday morning, if they don't move on impeachment, they will have to "shut it down." They'll have to. The 2020 candidates will be gearing up for the election.
Rotten old crone. Pelosi, you and your cohorts engage in mud slinging personal attacks constantly when it comes to President Trump. Now, suddenly, you want to talk about issues?!

Yes they do. We can say that the ideological spectrum itself is quite narrow, ranging from socialist-lite to Marxist, and Pelosi is closer to the former than the latter. She stood up and applauded Trump when he said "The US will never have Socialism".

If this was a positive meeting, then they would have relished holding a press conference so they can show themselves hugging and smiling.
One side never admits that they are really commies, the others admit it freely. They are of the same ideology.

You can forget the libs even starting to talk about US issues. Their whole plan of attack has nothing to do with issues, just the process of getting votes lying about anything and everything to get them. Issues will embarrass their platform as they are anti anything good for the country, just for them and their supporters. And as long as they have enough, they could give a rat’s pitooty about the other side that has the same issues but don’t agree with their conclusions. End of issues to discuss. They don’t exist as the libs don’t consider them issues as they already have the answer to the problems so there’s nothing to discuss.

Nancy’s behavior and comments read that AOC was the petulant little imp she’s always been. The meeting was a bust and Pelosi knows nothing is going to change. Her party will continue to destroy itself and there is nothing she can do about it.
If Nancy didn’t want to talk about the actual mechanics of the parlay, then maybe the meeting did not go as well as planned.
AO-C is not accepting the necessary discipline, and in failing to do so, the issue may only ferment even more.
