In late May, the National Legal and Policy Center filed an IRS complaint against Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, who is the wife of Elijah Cummings. The Complaint describes a score of apparent Internal Revenue Code violations, including prohibited private benefit and inurement of the Cummings.

The Cummings' group has received millions in grants from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (hhich has issues in Cimmungs' committee), and, in late 2017, was granted a million-dollar contract from the General Services Administration. The funds were purportedly provided to fight childhood obesity.

The Complaint asks the IRS to investigate whether “its organizers are getting fat off the grants.” At the same time she heads CGPS, Mrs. Cummings heads a for-profit consulting firm called Global Policy Solutions, LLC, whose operations appear to have been indistinguishable from those of CGPS. The two entities have shared office space, telephones, etc., all of which are flagrant violations of the Internal Revenue Code.

Financial Documents Reveal Cummings’ Wife’s Companies Had Over $250,000 in Overlapping Business

**SNIP** Documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show that Rockeymoore Cummings’ for-profit consulting firm, Global Policy Solutions LLC, was paid more than $250,000 by her charity, the Center for Global Policy Solutions. The Daily Caller notes that between 2013 and 2015, the charity paid Rockeymoore Cummings’ for-profit firm “management fees” totaling more than $250,000. Additionally, the nonprofit and for-profit entities had a cost-sharing contract highlighting their joint property, as the two entities are housed at the same address

**SNIP** Although the NLPC’s complaint was focused on Rockeymoore Cummings’ 2017 business transactions and the congressman’s potential influence, Anderson believes the documents obtained by the Daily Caller from 2013 to 2015 show the same illegal behavior. (Excerpt) Read more at ijr.com ...

These Congressional criminal enterprises have been going on for a long time. When a powerful chairman of a committee of the House of Representatives has a wife that is bringing in money from entities with interests before his Committee and she is not providing the transparency mandated by the IRS, there’s a serious problem.

Corruption by wives of the DC crowd is not uncommon. Long time office holder Rep. John Conyers (who was ousted for seual shenanigans) escaped but his wife was convicted and went to prison. As guards cleared the packed courtroom, Monica Conyers yelled that she planned to appeal. The wife of U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., wanted to withdraw her guilty plea, suggesting she was the victim of “badgering” last year when she admitted taking cash.....

Cumming's wife, Maya Rockeymoore’s charity, paid over $250,000 in “management fees” to her own for-profit consulting firm between 2013 and 2015, according to audited financial reports for the foundation published by the Daily Caller on Thursday. The payments were made by Rockeymoore’s foundation, the Center for Global Policy Solutions, to her consulting firm, Global Policy Solutions. The two entities also had a cost-sharing agreement in which the foundation covered its own expenses related to any joint projects.

IRS law prohibits insiders at nonprofit groups from self-dealing, or using foundation money for their own personal financial benefit. Tax records of nonprofit charities such as Rockeymoore's are public and are supposed to be made available for viewing.

News of the payments, which experts said raise legal questions about self-dealing at the charity, came after the Washington Examiner reported that Rockeymoore’s foundation had received millions of dollars from corporations and special interest groups with business before her husband’s committee. I watched Mr. Professional Victim Democrat Cummings yesterday on the news crying about the injustice of the Mueller Report. He really put on a reallly big shew for the public about how justice needs to be done. I've noticed that for members of the NAACP the larger the show, the greater criminal activity they are having behind the scenes.
