In a testy exchange with Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, former Special Counsel Robert Mueller admitted during testimony Wednesday that he was friends with former FBI Director James Comey.
Mueller, who was appearing in his first of two congressional hearings, said first that he and Comey were “business associates” and then – after being pressed by Gohmert – added that he and the former FBI director were “friends.”
The exchange between Mueller and Gohmert highlighted the deep divide within Congress – and among the American public – over Trump and the investigation by Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

I am still fuming at Rosenweasel’s set up. He urges Trump to fire Comey then uses it as the excuse to appoint Comey’s BFF as SC. F’n outrages.
A presidential administration plants spies in the campaign of the opposing party candidate, concocts a phony “dossier” in order to provide a tissue thin basis for using the fell powers of government to harry and intimidate members of the opposing party’s campaign during the election, and to hinder the functioning of the opposing party after it is in office.
Nothing wrong with that is there?
This is a confession that Mueller broke the Special Counsel law which requires - not suggests - any substantial conflict of interest disqualifies an individual from performing the role.

I was unable to watch more than 30 seconds of the testimony at a time. We should indict the Democrats in the House for Obstruction of Justice. They sure as hell don’t seek justice or truth.
Muller kept on insisting he was a business associate, then admitted they were friends.
I would make my life’s work to get that weasel if I was in politics!
