Google is watching you posting to FR as well. If you take a look at the HTML of this very page, at the bottom we have
<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">_uacct = "UA-2288668-1"; urchinTracker();</script>
And they can thus associate every politically-incorrect thing you say here, with your real identity, at whatever point they choose

And everything you do before and after, and no, not dependent on the cookie. Again, if you feel better using tools that you think protect your identity, go for it, but they don't.
I've been in the industry for over 20 years. We can even track your cash purchases in stores. The data sharing we do across industries is unbelievable, and completely legal. But if you think you can get in your car, go make a cash purchase, and industry not know who you are, what you bought, what you did before, after and otherwise is just ignorance.

"Google is watching you posting to FR as well. It's not just posting; Google is watching you read this page. It doesn't have to be that way.
But the site administrators have chosen to use google analytics, which sends all the traffic data (every hit) to Google.

http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js Holy crap...seriously people.
Now, I'm not the site owner of course...but I speak from a little bit of experience.
urchin.js is simply a Google analytics tool that simply measures unique vistors visitors, number of pageviews per visit etc. to the site. Its a free "plug-in" of sorts that websites can use to monitor traffic without rolling your own tools to do similar things.
Its not a content bot or nor is it spying on anything you type...sheesh.

Google Analytics is there because Jim Robinson put it there. Google didn’t secretly insert it to monitor FR content. Analytics simply gathers stats on site usage - hits,peak activity, geographical distribution of readers, etc.
