Given the load that American businesses must carry - EEOC/DoddFrank/OSHA/EPA etc., plus our tort system, plus Obamacare - I don’t blame them one bit for covering their bets by offshoring.

There is no longer such a thing as Corporate America. These corps are dominated by progressives and are multi-national in nature.
Right. People gripe about Gates and Bezos being libs, but there’s nothing to stop libs from liking money and starting companies to make more of it. And there’s enough of an internationalist “culture” nowadays that one can live in that milieu, enjoy its accoutrements, and simply never develop strong feelings for America. (Just think of the Bushes and “showing your patriotism by going shopping!”)

In my commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the governor negotiates directly with the gov’t unions. He is a Democrat and took millions in campaign contributions.
He is giving pay raises of 23% for some union positions.
This is not better than taking a campaign contribution from a company and then ensuring they win a gov’t contract.
No, it is not symbiotic.
Corporations are regulated by the same politicians who demand bribes.
It is not symbiotic....it is like protection money for the mafia.
I do not blame a company for trying to protect itself with a bribe or getting an advantage that its competitor might take.
The problem is the corrupt politician who created this system.....and the people who keep electing them.
No, millions of leftists are selling out this country. They are your family, friends, neighbors, work mates and yes, some are in charge of companies.
They are horrible people who demand compliance and refuse to let freedom ring. They are the nanny staters, the haters, the racists, and the controllers. They hate free speech, self reliance, self protection and anything else that is the basis for the foundation of the United States of America.
We must fight back continuously against these horrible people, folks. Buy guns and ammo. And then but more.
