to enable homeless camping all over town, except city hall
Exempting City Hall isnt very inclusive.
In fact its downright racist.

Leftists have a knack for creating 3rd world living right here in the U.S.A.
In the olden days, the “homeless” problem was taken care of with vagrancy laws and “Thirty five pounds, of Blackjack County Chain”
I was sittin’ beside the road in Blackjack County
Not knowing that the sheriff paid a bounty
For men like me who didn’t have a penny to their names
So he locked my leg to thirty-five pounds of Blackjack County chain”
Austin is nothing but a liberal stronghold. They voted for the mayor who has now allowed the homeless to camp on anyone’s front stoop they wish. They continue to vote socialist at every turn. They made their bed and they can lay in it.
Bump
Whats the problem , you voted for it

Exactly. You get the government you deserve.
50 yard line at the OU game. You’re right, NOTHING interrupts a football game.
perfect example of how leftist rulers can turn a shinning gem into a literal shithole within just a few days ...
Thanks for posting. Sheesh.
Wasn’t it LA that decided to play 2 children songs repeated 24 hours a day to discourage them from camping on a City owned property? Creative, not really Bush did it to Ortega in Panama, effective, I doubt it.
Actions have consequences. When you put these virtue signaling, ideologically driven idiots in power you suffer the consequences, because they don’t care about the consequences only about demonstrating how righteous they are. Austin is reaping what it sowed.

Ann Kitchen, who voted along with Mayor Adler to enable homeless camping all over town, except city hall and the public parks

Ah, those that fail to uphold the Law don’t want to be bothered w/ the repercussions of the same. Doubt any lawsuit vs. these exemptions would go anywhere either; sure the courts are covered under the same ‘umbrella’.
Did they update the State houses so the riff-raff can’t be heard\seen\smelled like Dingy did in D.C.?
An effort in Austin, Texas, to recall City Councilmember Ann Kitchen from her position was initiated in January 2016. A group called Austin4All began circulating petitions for signature in the last week of January 2016. Petitioners submitted approximately 5,300 signatures to the city clerk on February 19, 2016.[1][2][3] The effort did not go to a vote because the city clerk rejected signatures on March 4, 2016, due to a lack of notary stamps for each page of the petition. The petition seeking Kitchen’s removal from the city council cited her efforts to regulate ride-sharing companies like Lyft and Uber. Kitchen advocated for the use of additional background checks on drivers working for these companies. The Austin Chronicle pointed to $4,000 in campaign contributions to Kitchen from Lone Star Cab during her 2014 campaign in an article about the recall effort.
Help? You allowed those filthy faggot kalifornians to move there and now you’re horrified at the result. You’ve heard of the Midas touch? Now you’ve seen the kali touch, viz. everything turns to crap.
Embrace the SUCK, Austin!!
I went to Austin last month. NOT impressed. What a dung hole.
No that sight will surely bring in tourist ... SSW?
Hizzoner is off to LA to learn what, exactly? How to decorate a garbage pile to look like a Christmas tree? How to insulate wealthy areas from the creeping rot that is destroying the rest of the city?
Must be desperate to go to the state’s governor over their own city council.
My friends kid was going to go to UT Austin. He would be the 4th generation going to UT. Going to UTSA instead. Parents are enraged beyond belief. Not at the kid, at the city.
