Billionaire investor Peter Thiel says one reason for Google aiding in the transfer of AI technology to the Chinese military in favor of America is that “woke” Google employees are anti-American and prefer China to the U.S.
Thiel appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show following his call on Sunday for Google to be federally investigated for allowing itself to be infiltrated by the Chinese and the “treasonous decision” to hand them secretive technology.

They can all move to Hong Kong, join the protests (demanding Hong Kong be more like China) and then get beaten by the police.
They get all kinds of breaks, grants, subsidies and lots of cash. They are a massive government contractor and partner. For these reasons, like Universities, they need to be respectful of the rights enshrined in the Constitution and not tinker with content results or censor speech of any kind, other than overtly criminal content, on their platforms.
I heard a snippet on the radio the other day, that government workers who use Google at work may be inadvertently sharing classified information with Google, which then gets shared to 3rd parties, advertisers, google partners and developers etc who have no clearance - not to mention potential hackers anywhere in the chain. It’s not just the overt stuff like using Gmail or Google Drive to store/share classified content, but the accumulation of or accumulated content that is classified. 2 or more pieces of unclassified information, when taken together, might be worthy of classification. Just searching out content from a government URL day after day, if tracked by anyone, would lead someone to know what that person was looking into and could tip off a foreign adversary.

Google has too few Americans working there. H1B visas predominate. They can pay them less and the don’t have our values.
