I don’t quite understand the deal with the house. The question is whether the appropriate taxes were paid at each step along the way. If Epstein lives in a company owned house fine, but the housing benefit would be taxable income. If the company transfers the house to Epstein for $0, fine, but that’s a taxable event as well. Companies can’t simply gift expensive homes to their senior executives.
