House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday publicly warned illegal immigrants not to open the door if an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent is knocking.
“An ICE deportation warrant is not the same as a search warrant. If that is the only document ICE brings to a home raid, agents do not have the legal right to enter a home. If ICE agents don’t have a warrant signed by a judge, a person may refuse to open the door and let them in,” Pelosi, reading from a card, said at her weekly press conference.
The speaker’s comments come as the Trump administration is once again preparing to launch sweeping raids across the U.S.
ICE will target roughly 2,000 illegal immigrants who have ignored court orders to leave the country. The raids, which will be conducted across 10 major U.S. cities, will begin on Sunday, and be the first of an ongoing effort by the administration to apprehend and deport illegal immigrants.

ICE agents should bring a warrant authorizing forced entry. If they just knock on the door and nobody answers, and come back a few a few days later, the illegals will disappear.
Gonna be a lot of doors get splintered in the coming days. This is not a courtesy call.

From a tactical standpoint, is there are reason that ICE needs to do publicly announced “raids” rather than just continuously working their way down lists individually?

It would be nice to think that Pelosi and the Dems will get booted out of congress for their crazy agenda. But then again, the thought of the Republicans regaining control of the congress is not exactly inspiring hope either. The GOP always finds a way to screw things up.
Clear obstruction of justice along with all the other charges mentioned heretofore.

Somewhere there has to be something about the inevitable demise of civilization when our highest ranking officials ignore the rule of law. These people are reprehensible and don’t deserve to live in America, much less get rich off the taxpayer dole.
