The heat index today was close to 100, if not right at 100, and it was unbearable outside. Tomorrow will be the same so it’s grocery shopping tonight.

How are things where you are? It seems that the small storms that you had the other day will be our first tropical storm Who knew! Well, Mark Sudduth of HurricaneTrack talked about it, but I’ll bet it still surprises some people!

Frontier doesn’t fly overseas, best case is like Cancun and I can’t get that route since senior crews always go for it. :(

LOL! I don’t know about VERY organized but somewhat. The real challenge with the cats is keeping up with who gets what medicines when.

Glad you didn’t have to go anywhere with it being that hot. UGH! A friend is in Houston this week and when he emailed this afternoon, he said it was 109!

Our heat index was around 100 today and will be a little hotter tomorrow, which is why I’m getting ready to head out to the grocery store. It isn’t too bad outside now that the sun’s gone down.

Yes, the low that was sitting on top of us, giving us some rain, went due south and will whip up some sort of tropical system by Sat. The weathergal was talking about that yesterday on Nashville news, and again this evening. It’ll hit the Gulf and move west. Weird how these things work sometimes.

Good idea to go to the grocery store tonight when it’s not too awful. Of course, they have AC in the store, so that’s a plus!

Nope. We have to bid our routes first week of the month. I try for the good ones and sometimes I do get them but only when a senior captain specifically asks for me to be on his crew.

Food Lion keeps their store like a meat locker so there’s no worries about being warm while shopping. It’s pretty decent out there now so it’s time to go. Catch ya in a bit.
