What is the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners group and why are some Republicans taking aim at it?

Most Republican politicians in the state of CO need a political organization like RMGO to kick the living sh*t out of them. It would improve politics in CO.

Bingo! Having lived there for years, I think the Colorado Republican Party can be fairly characterized as "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight." They spend more time and effort on 'friendly fire' than defending conservative principles and attacking the Left, which means the Dems generally have a 'cake walk' on election day. For whatever their reasons, they seem to be entirely focused on following the foot steps of the California GOP, into complete & utter irrelevancy...

If you are not feared by politicians, what good are you as a group?

RMGO practices hard core politics. Some may not like their tactics but if you are in a fight for rights freedom and liberty, you want someone like them on your side.

Except for marijuana, CO has become almost a lost cause in the freedom movement and if marijuana legalization is all you have going for you, what can I say.

Denver Post. anti-gun since 1970.

I remember a scathing editorial back then in which they called for a ban on American made “Saturday Night Specials!” (foreign made small pistols were banned in 1968).

The photo showed a “typical” SNS, a Ruger Mk II .22 LR. as it cost at that time $45.00. To the Denver Post, any pistol selling for less than $50 was a SNS.
