On an episode of The Candace Owens Show that aired this past May, Owens had as her guest Dennis Prager. While I agreed with most of the points made by both Ms. Owens and Mr. Prager, one item struck me as an example of superficial analysis. They declared that the primary objective of the Left is "chaos." In an immediate sense, this seems true; the so-called "progressive left" does appear to be deliberately sowing chaos in America today.
However, I submit that the Left's "chaos" is an intermediate objective, the means to an end. They have a well defined endgame. The Communist Bloc countries were a lot of things, but they were generally not chaotic. They were highly regimented societies, and while they did not have the material standard of living or political freedoms enjoyed in the West, there were some agreeable aspects, as related by the wife of one Carlo Alcos in an online feature story on the Matador Network about her early childhood experiences growing up in East Germany:
It wasn't all trying, though. Everyone had a job, school lunches were free, after-school care was free, people were generally happy, necessities were extremely cheap, and there was more community spirit than there is nowadays. In those times, there were no Joneses to keep up with.
Rigidly communist East Germany hardly sounded like "chaos." So what is the progressive left's game in the Era of Trump?
First, at present, leftists want to create a state of political cultural chaos in the U.S. for a specific reason. They need chaos as a smokescreen to defend their current leaders — that is to say, Obama, Hillary & Co. — from prosecution. In the short term, that’s true, the objective is to cause chaos. That’s because of two leftist strategies, both of which are currently in play.
The first is the fairly well-known Cloward-Piven strategy, which aims to overwhelm the social safety net to bring about economic collapse so that the people will embrace socialism.
The second is the bottom-up/top-down strategy, which aims to create uprisings so they can be put down forcibly, thus bringing the socialist left ever closer to absolute power.
Combine the two and you have current Democrat progressivism.
They’ll never live through the “chaos” stage.
It’s simpler and more sinister than that, they want a to establish global neo-feudalism via the genocide of the west.

We don’t have to fight the military. Just a few ornery liberal politicians, perhaps a judge or two, but not the military.

The useful idiots bring in the revolution, the leaders of the revolution have the useful idiots slaughtered after they (the leaders) have a solid hold on all the reins and levers of power.
The leaders know that anyone stupid enough to believe the propaganda that brought about the revolution is stupid enough to believe anything so will always be a danger to those newly in power.

And will not be prosecuted because the GOP helped with the violation of the Constitution.
It’s Cloward-Piven and the left is setting up the chaos in the event they win the White House in 2020. Then they can declare a state of emergency and take actions to remove the second amendment and to call in the troops that Obama’s Generals assembled.
They plan to forcefully take over government and start converting the US to a socialist/fascist paradise. Don’t be surprised if everything conservative becomes illegal, including flying Old Glory, as Nike demonstrated.
I believe that the left is currently promoting chaos with the idea that - even though it is the Dems doing it - the public will associate it with Trump, and try to make it go away by getting rid of Trump. The Dems are purposefully creating a condition of maximum stress, which people find intolerable, and which people will do anything to eliminate. The Dems’ subliminal message is thus: if you want to get rid of all this stress, get rid of Trump. It’s easier to get rid of Trump than to get rid of all the Democrats and all of the media.
Sure. And if you don't mind too much standing in lines 10-block long, you'll eventually find out if there are any of those cheap necessities left.
Chaos is primary tactic, not a strategy; that one involves the rapid reduction of population size.
You know, what in the old days we used to call genocide.
Take out bridges and super highways, along with the electrical grids. Without food and fuel, the people will destroy each other.
Individual military personnel would definitely step up and defend their country. However, that could also provide the means to remove them and insert somebody more loyal to socialism.
The good thing is that no country has ever survived guerilla warfare, especially 80 million+ people are involved in the guerilla warfare.
That may be the intent, but the result is that people are associating this chaos with the Democrats.
I think the general American population will focus on eliminating Democrats as much as possible.
Destroy the past to create a glorious future.
The specific "west" they want to get rid of is "Western Civilization" or, in other words, Judeo/Christian civilization.
They--the Left--do not want to murder everyone who currently lives in the west. That's just a bigger task than is required.
Take what is happening in the Europe for example. The Left has invited in Muslim immigrants to destroy the Judeo/Christian structures in European countries and the UK. And it's working brilliantly.
Christianity is dead and dying in Europe/UK and the Jews are headed, lickety-split, for Israel.
No genocide required.
You can see the goal in the U.S. being achieved albeit in a different manner.
The LBGTQ is doing the job of destroying the Judeo/Christian infrastructure and so far the Jews aren't a problem because they have already abandoned their culture in favor of that of the Left.
I think the only genocide the Left is thinking of is for those recalcitrant conservatives who will fight til the bitter end and I think you'll be depressed to learn that that group is smaller than you think.
BTW, I live in the Deep South and lately have been astonished to learn that many who I thought were hard core conservatives are not conservative at all.
We see the feudalism, described in the American thinker, already at work even if the Left does not have complete control of America. why do we see unfunny comedians such as Samantha Bee and Trevor Noah et such popular acclaim? Pretty but sophmoric Naomi Wolfe gets her books bought up to give her money she really can’t get on her own.
You have no clue. Our military is pathetically small for controlling our population by force. Structurally it would be sitting on top of its own logistical tail. Bases are almost completely unsecured, and many of the soldiers and their families live out in town.
Our military has been bogged down in an area roughly the size of Texas in the Middle East for two decades with no end in sight.
Then for extra fun, the military would have to spend an amazing amount of time deciding the loyalties of people in the military. The majority come from States the communist government would want to suppress. How’s that going to work out for you?
Then a million other things start to happen, a base commander gets a photograph of his kids walking into school. An Apache helicopter shoots up a military Convoy. The sabotaged wreckage of the machine is found abandoned on a country road, the pilots are long gone. A drone pilot in post-coital Bliss in a Las Vegas hotel room gets a Bullet to the Head from the woman he was just met in the bar and had fun with. He never knew her father and brother were killed by a Hellfire missile in a drone strike 6 months ago. Workers arriving at the Raytheon plant making Hellfire missiles are horrified to find 6 Engineers hanging from an overpass. A gigantic security Force must be deployed to the plant. Nobody is willing to drive a fuel truck.
That’s the kind of thing that has gone on in every Insurgency I’ve ever heard of. The military would have almost no chance of controlling the American people. Thankfully they’re not intended, nor structured to do so.
