WH reporters offer rare praise after Grisham runs interference with Kim Jong Un goons

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham started her tenure on the right foot with the White House press corps — the same foot she pivoted off to shove North Korean guards aside so reporters could cover President Trump and Kim Jong Un.

Grisham won applause from journalists excited to see her take decisive action Sunday ensuring coverage of the historic meeting in the Korean Demilitarized Zone.

A clip of Grisham’s Sunday scuffle played on TVs in White House workspaces on Monday morning as journalists who were there relayed the experience to colleagues, recalling that North Korean guards hadn't screened the group that Grisham dramatically escorted.

Impressed White House journalists asked one another throughout the day, "Have you seen the video of Stephanie?" One veteran correspondent said it would significantly boost her standing among reporters.

While none of my time was in the North, based upon my experience in the South, I suspect those guards will not enjoy the aftermath of allowing themselves to be pushed about. Koreans take security very seriously.

Funny how initial reports were that the goons roughed HER up.

Instead we now know that SHE roughed THEM up!

You go girl! That was a feminist slogan, can you still say that? I mean, it does have the homophobic gender identity term “girl” in it. /s (sort of)

” honeymoon will wear thin quickly.”

Agreed, if nothing else they are a fickle bunch to say the least. I give it ‘till just after July 4th.

I remember a plane at JFK Airport in the 1970s that was being detained. Tom Snyder, on NBC’s “Tomorrow” was interviewing comedian and social activist Dick Gregory as it continued into his time slot.

The chief American inquisitor about this Russian plane was Donald McHenry, the underling of Jimmy Carter’s U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young.

Snyder was perplexed but conspiracy-theorist Gregory was quick to pounce on a reason. “You’re watching the new nigger at the U.N.,” said the black comedian before NBC could hit the kill switch. “He has to be seen to be tough on the Soviets.”

Weeks later, Young stepped down from his post and Carter tabbed McHenry as his replacement, which sailed through the Senate confirmation likely due to his performance on the Russian plane.

Could it be that Trump and Kim staged this little skirmish between Stephanie and the Korean guards so as to create acceptance of the new press secretary with the media?

A nice gesture would be for the reporters to present Grisham with a set of shoulder pads.

I wonder if any of the presstitutes understand that the only reason that Grisham could get away with this move is because her boss established a relationship with the Chia Pet in two previous meetings.

Imagine that: A press secretary fighting for the right of reporters to slander her boss.

That's the difference between Conservatives and Liberals.

“Be pushed about”??

More likely be fish food in a tank of piranhas or on the receiving end of an RPG round.
