Absolutely, if the woman has an allegation, and turns it over to the police where the alleged incident happened, and if it has not reached the statute of limitations, the police definitely should investigate it.
But certainly not the congress. Congress is not an “investigative” body, when it comes to looking for criminal behavior; they can investigate whether Trump has done something while in office.
