Veteran John "Bill" Williams recalled to WRC-TV that he was in Vietnam just six days before two fellow service members were shot down, declared missing in action, "and they still haven't found their bodies."
Such losses are why the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza in Rockville, Maryland, means so much to Williams.

"I wasn't happy about it at all because the park is supposed to be a veterans park," Williams told WRC. "People died. Now they took it down and put another flag up."
He added to the station, "If they want to put the other flag underneath, they could put it underneath, but the POW flag should be flying there."
What's the background?
It was the first time a rainbow pride flag flew at the Veterans Memorial Plaza, which is outside the Montgomery County executive office building, WRC said.
Montgomery County Council member Evan Glass, the council's first LGBTQ member, helped celebrate the raising of the pride flag last week, the station added.
But WRC noted that the flag switch ignited public outcry — and Glass said things would be smoothed over.
"The flag post was only able to accommodate one flag, and when we learned of that, we are quickly, the county government, is quickly changing it," he told the station. "So we're adding more ringlets so that by tomorrow morning both flags will be raised."
The POW/MIA flag indeed was raised again as the rainbow pride flag continued to fly, County Executive Mark Elrich told WRC.
The rainbow flag will be up during June for pride month, the station said, while the POW/MIA flag will fly permanently.
I’m sure they’ll claim it was raised to honor the millions of homosexual vets who were forced to stay in the closet while making the ultimate sacrifice.
Cuz everyone’s gay, don’t ya know.

Everyone in authority is probably frozen with fear, as the LGBTQ mafia is very strong. If someone demanded that the rainbow flag be flown there permanently “to honor gay soldiers”, that would probably happen.
This is yet another consequence of no push-back, of no one ever saying. “Oh, hell no.”
Yep, it’s even creeping into Poland, but at least there’s a lot of resistance to it there.

On the one hand we have veterans who PROUDLY served their nation, are PROUD of their time as warriors and accomplishments and the nation is PROUD of them.
On the other hand, we have fellas who are PROUD of sticking Mr. Wangdoodle up some other guy’s poop chute.

I am intolerant. I want fecal and other homo / deviant sex outlawed. I want them back in their closets.

Homosexuals have domestic abuse rates, suicide rates, mental issues, serious communicable disease rates, assault rates, and murder rates 20-30 TIMES higher than the straight population.
Not 30% higher. 30 times higher.
It is not good for the culture, it is not good for the practitioners, and it is bloody expensive.
Why is it that homosexuals feel that the most important and first thing you should know about them is their sexual proclivity by flying “pride” flags and displaying “pride”stickers? And what is it they are proud of?
That's what puzzles me. How can EVERYONE in elected or appointed office be frozen with fear? What's the worst that can happen if you stand up to the perverts? You get fired and go find another job. At least, in 2019, you (most likely) won't go to jail or re-education camp.
At best maybe you begin turning this mess around and influence others.
Atheists can be offended by crosses and they are ordered taken down. I am offended by the gay flag. Why doesn’t that mean they have to take it down?

From my understanding and exposure to people that do work at the state and federal level the policies are laid out to protect this types of behavior or agendas. Those that do speak up are at risk of losing pension and public shaming that can last even beyond the current job they hold. I can see why this mess has turned out this way. Its leadership through fear and intimidation and they have stacked the deck at this point. Scary and absolutely wrong!
I went to Italy during the 2nd Gulf War, and the rainbow flags with “PACE” on them were everywhere.
I spit on the concept.
Why has not someone, anyone, taken this in hand and just removed and damn thing. I would not be looking at one here on any type of Veteran memorial. No way. Take it down, burn it, whatever but do something. Stop wringing your hands about it.
Last year here our fag mayor decided to unilaterally put up the fag flag at city hall. Next night the city council demanded he remove it because they were besieged with calls to remove it. Had he not, next step would have been it would have been disappeared. Wish they could do that with the mayor too.
Kudos to the group supporting the straight parade in Boston this fall.

I think there is the making of pun in there somewhere.
This fag flag issue really sets me off. Notice now it is Pride movement. It used to be gay pride but that did not fly so they removed the gay word. It is not inclusive or anything close to that. I can not a whit to be inclusive with a bunch of perverts.
