Concern is growing over the health of Angela Merkel after the German Chancellor was overcome by a shaking fit for the second time in a little over a week on Thursday.
Eight days after footage showed Ms Merkel desperately trying to maintain composure as she shook from head to foot at a reception for the Ukrainian president, she has suffered another bout of trembling.
Footage from Thursday morning shows Ms Merkel’s legs shaking as she stands through a swearing-in ceremony in Berlin for the country’s new justice minister, Christine Lambrecht.

That first public episode was quite severe. That cannot be unseen. I don’t even like Angela Merkel b/c of what she’s done to her German citizens immigration wise, but even I would be concerned as one human being to another. Perhaps smaller portions of sauerkraut and a lighter beer for Fruhstuck (breakfast) should be considered.
Do a urine culture. She is an old woman and old women can get bacteremia from urinary tract infection. Can present as shaking with or without chills.
De-tox or blood sugar (amazing how one can diagnose without a medical degree or even an exam these days...)
They should have been concerned about her mental health long ago.
With the first case, you could suggest dehydration. This was indoors and I assume having some AC. She obviously knows that she has a problem and won’t discuss it in public.
For six months, there’s been chatter in Germany over the idea that she will resign after the three state elections in the fall (Sep/Oct), and with some cooperation via the SPD Party (the coalition party)...her party would just do a insider-vote and bring up a new Chancellor. Back in the fall of 2018 when this was suggested...AKK was the chosen one (personally by Merkel).
Looks like some kind of seizure.
How can she possibly still be in power after destroying Germany??? Boggles.
Discussing that forthrightly in Germany will get you fired from your job and prosecuted for committing a hate crime.
