If an attack is eventually required, I would use some of those EMP cruise missiles that we reportedly now have and simply turn off the lights in Tehran for a while. Our focus should be on tipping Iranian public sentiment towards the mullahs over the edge, and that might be the straw that does it. Killing Iranians in a conventional attack might cause the populace to cozy up to the mullahs, which is why Iran is trying to provoke an attack, but just turning the power off could have the opposite effect.
I agree, the populace is obviously sick of the mullahs and, had not Obama prevented it, the mullahs would have been overthrown several years ago. And I think that’s exactly why the mullahs are trying to get the US to respond with force, because this would make the people get back into line, if only to survive.
One of the biggest military problems with targeting a biohazard facility is figuring out how to contain the dispersal of the target you just attacked. Nuclear incineration is the only sure way.
Call me a conspiracy theorist, but with all the lies and treason going on in the Democrat party.. Plus Kerry going over to Iran to ‘wheel and deal’.. I would not be shocked to learn the Democrats were in some way involved in this drone strike.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around what is happening in Iran. First the attacks on 6 tankers. Shooting at a US Drone while it watches an Iranian Guard boat remove evidence of mining activity in the latest tanker attack.
Then going out an shooting down a drone?
OK, they are a state sponsor of international terrorism and they absolutely hate the US for everything from the Shaw, to the ending of the Iraq/Iran war, to shooting down one of the jet liners. The have pirated USA naval personnel off the high seas, they held people hostage from our embassy, they do not value human life.
When I read things like the following that we should feel good they shot down a drone and not a jet carrying 35 people, I get sick.
All international protocol says that if someone is in your territorial waters or in your airspace to contact them, tell them to turn around, and then give them a military escort until they are in international waters or airspace.
Only terrorists and international criminals shoot first and warn later.
Russia and some other super powers need to tell the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to act more professional are expect to be exterminated by a professional army, navy, marine corp and air force.

Once upon a time in a far away galaxy, many centuries in the future, I was a 23 year old rifle company commander in Vietnam, 1971. While trying to deal with the North Vietnamese Army and keep all of my soldiers alive before the light in the tunnel was turned out, I observed those in Washington behaved.
They were all trying to save their little political asses without any thought to those of us who were still doing our best to follow their orders. They abandoned Vietnam and they abandoned the American military.
Today, I have observed the useless media and the usual suspects from the Political Left scream, shout, and run about outraged that Trump did not send the American military into the maw of air defenses to “send a message”. These are the people who embraced Obama when he sold out his country in favor of Valerie Jarrett’s country, Iran. Every single one of these morons will sleep safely in their beds tonight and will be rested and ready to attack Trump tomorrow.
