Rendering assistance in response to a mayday call is what I would expect they will say. It does seem kind of strange that somebody sent out to a tanker that reported a limpet mine attached to the ship would just yank it off and drive away. Of course in that part of the world it might be a common problem to deal with.
Around here the Coast Guard boats deal with the usual maritime problems like sinking boats, boats that have run aground, etc. Maybe removing mines stuck on ships is all in a days work in the Gulf of Oman.

Skepticism is always warranted when evidence can be faked and institutions are not trustworthy. We all know that the FBI, CIA, DOJ, Dept. of State, and many other government officials and entities have lied in the past, and many are lying daily. Brennan, Mueller, Schiff, Comey, etc. come to mind.
But you can't blame this video on the MSM. If its fake, then it is a Pentagon fake. Hopefully it isn't, but we have certainly seen fake information provided by the military and the State Department in the past. Benghazi anyone?

Actually they did. The guys on the supposed Iranian patrol boat had their life jackets on. I would have voted for flak jackets myself, but I suspect if the mine had detonated on their little boat it wouldn't have mattered what they were wearing.
