Right. Le Pen’s party is perhaps the last hope to save France. But that party carries a lot of nasty baggage.

OK. So? The dad no longer has a position in Marine Le Pen's organization.

Even if he did, I would favor an anti-Islam Holocaust-denier over any sort of pro-Islamic-immigration politician. The Nazis are done. Islam is the modern-day threat.

Denial is more than a river in Egypt. There were Jews who kept themselves alive by working in those camps. These workers would tell new Jews that they were not showers and they would be gassed. They laughed it off and entered willingly. Saying the Germans would never do that. Some people just want to believe that evil does not exist.
