French far-right leader Marine Le Pen has been ordered to stand trial for tweeting pictures of Islamic State atrocities, a judicial source told AFP on Wednesday.
Le Pen shared the gruesome images in December 2015, a few weeks after IS jihadists killed 130 people in attacks in Paris.

The same should apply in regards to ISIS. But of course Muslims are a protected class. The Nazis were not.
Oh, and one more thing. Le Pen's party scored well in the last election. No way would the French Deep State sit still for that. Hence this prosecution.

Even if he did, I would favor an anti-Islam Holocaust-denier over any sort of pro-Islamic-immigration politician. The Nazis are done. Islam is the modern-day threat.
Yes it leaves Catholic conservatives stuck between a rock and a hard place. The younger Le Pens have changed their party’s name from National Front to National Assembly or whatever, and Marine’s niece goes by ‘Marion Marechal’ now, having dropped the Le Pen name. She has promising future should she play her cards right.
Too many people do not appreciate the freedoms we have as Americans. The rest of the world (even Canada, which most Americans view as being just like the USA, but more expensive)prosecutes for politically incorrect speech. If the Dems can manage it, that will soon be the norm in the USA, too.
It’s French Nazis and French Soviet-Enthusiasts who brought ruin to France in the first place. The Resistance was very small. And it’s taken a generation for French people to properly appreciate America’s role in WWII.
Actually it was elements of the French Revolution itself that ruined France.
