Gotta ramp up the drama to get maximun news coverage.
Exactly. Whats he going to do? Plead the 5th?
Mulehead cannot testify. I don’t think he will.
If he does, he is in extreme danger of perjury and other charges.
He cannot be asked under oath when he knew the Steele dossier was a fraud. He would have to explain why he put ONLY anti-Trump DemoKKKrat haters his team, or why, if he was looking into “Russian collusion,” he didn’t investigate the DNC server to find out if it had actually been hacked (it wasn’t).
Personally, I will be shocked if he testifies. And if the subpoena him, I don’t see how he can answer any questions, so I could see him taking the 5th.
All good points and I agree.
I agree, Mulehead testifying is legal liability for him. He made ‘conclusions’ in his report about Seth Rich’s death that he never investigated. He did not order a independent review of the DNC server, Seth Rich’s computer. He did not interview or contact Wikileaks. He clearly didn’t contact the NSA to find out if Wikileaks was communicating with Seth Rich. If he didn’t do these things than he made a political decision to push a ‘story’ about the Russians DNC hack, and if he did investigate all of the above he needs to explain the NSA FOIA that there was contact between Seth Rich and Wikileaks.
I don’t see how he answers any of these without legal exposure.
If Mueller testifies, a big if, will he be under oath? If not it is a huge waste of time.
Yes, and then grill him.
The entire investigation is related to Trump and collusion. In any case, Nadler can’t easily restrict questions as to who, when, where, how, and why events related to the investigation can be made, particularly with regard to FISA warrant justification and specificity as the time that Mueller could say that he could not prove Trump’s involvement. Questioning will put him in a tight spot to that regard.
All Nadler can do is to establish time limits on questioning. In this case he can coach Mueller to embellishing on an answer to take as much time as needed.
