Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch announced Monday it received 218 pages of Strzok-Page emails which show FBI counsel James Baker instructing FBI officials to expedite the release of FBI probe material to Hillary Clinton’s lawyer in August of 2016.
Hillary’s lawyer, David Kendall and FBI counsel James Baker discussed quickly obtaining the “302” report of the FBI/DOJ interview of Clinton.
FD-302 reports are notes FBI officials take to summarize interviews they conduct with an individual.
The Strzok-Page emails also show the FBI failed to document at least four interviews of witnesses in the Clinton email probe.
Remember, this was happening at the same time Strzok launched “Crossfire Hurricane” to investigate Trump-Russia.

On August 16, 2016, at 10:02 p.m. Baker emails then-Associate Deputy Director David Bowdich; Michael Steinbach, former executive assistant director for national security; former Acting Assistant Director Jason V. Herring; former FBI lawyer Lisa Page; former Principal Deputy General Counsel Trisha Anderson; Michael Kortan, FBI assistant director for public affairs, now retired; James Rybicki, former chief of staff to Comey; and others to inform them that he “just spoke” with Clinton’s lawyer Kendall, who requested documents from the FBI. Baker says he told Kendall he would “need to submit a request.” Baker tells them, “I said we would process it expeditiously.”

HUNDREDS of witnesses later reported that they’d told the FBI of seeing a sidewinding light reach up to the doomed airplane, then an explosion, then the crash.
Time after time investigators refused to write their accounts down in the 302, with the FBI telling the witnesses what to tell the FBI, an other-worldly reversal of roles.
In many other cases the FBI would let the witnesses think they’d written down in the 302 with the words witnesses had used, but much later witnesses learned the actual report turned black into white.
It wasn’t mere re-shading.
The FBI is politicized and when owing to political loyalties they don’t want to hear certain things, they simply DO NOT.
302’s are heralded by suckers as inviolate documents, they pile on the weighty, solemn meaning of these papers.
Now?
THAT is what they are —papers.
And now apparently they are OPTIONAL for the interviews they conduct, sort of.
We had an FBI but now America has FEDERALES.
When we good guys work within the system it is frustrating.
Frustratingly slow. I still have hope though. But it’s getting harder and harder.
Some context for younger FReepers: Bill Clinton was elected with the support of millions of grown-up anti-war Vietnam-era hippies. He couldn’t afford to go to all-out war against anybody, even if they downed one of our passenger planes.
The President should demand, as a matter of policy, that all interviews by the FBI be videotaped and archived. This would help restore confidence in the organization.

There was video! They showed it on TV. Once. I remember seeing it. You could clearly see the missile coming from the lower left of the image from the ground to the plane.
Clinton was hell on aspirin factories to distract people from his domestic issues. He said, “What’s the point of having a military if you can’t use it?”
Of course, standing offshore and launching Tomahawks at the unfortunate factory didn’t take a lot of courage.

Problem is, a false 302 in one case can be used by the defense in many other cases.
Then those too will of course come up missing for certain people. But yes, I agree, FBI should video tape and archive all interviews.
