A man who threw a 5-year-old boy from a third-floor balcony in Minnesota's Mall of America was sentenced to nearly two decades in prison on Monday.
Judge Jeannice Reding sentenced Emmanuel Aranda, 24, to 19 years in prison, the maximum amount agreed upon in his plea deal after he pleaded guilty to throwing the young boy, Landen, from the mall's balcony.

There is no justice in our joke of a judicial system. Here’s hoping he meets Justice in prison.
In 19 years perhaps word will get out in his prison that he tried to kill a little boy and he’ll be in general pop . .
He may wind up being flung over a railing himself.

If he had tossed the child from the second floor balcony instead of the third then perhaps he would have received only a 12 year sentence.

I’ll look on the positive side; at least they caught him, ID’ed him to the entire world as dangerous scum. and took him off the streets for a while.
Senator Omar has yet to say ‘Boo!’ about this horror in her district. She’s probably sending the prisoner sweet candies to eat after sundown, it being Ramadan time and all.
I read in another article that he is eligible for parole in just a few years, which should not be allowed in this case.
Only 19 years, for deliberately going to the mall to look for someone to attack? Hopefully some convicts will deliver true justice to this POS. It would be terrible if he ended up paralyzed because he got dropped from a prison gallery tier.
This creep should have been sentenced to be hung from the rail he threw this child over.
He got off very lucky.
He would have been set free if he was a woman and used a pussy pass.

He’ll probably be out in less time and so still be a young guy around 40. Clearly attempted murder.

Just from the Mother’s point of view, that had to be a life changing experience. I hope she is receiving the love and support she needs after witnessing something that horrible.
That’s not supposed to be happening in America. Not that I wish it on anyone.
