WASHINGTON — With their playbook for pushing government boundaries as a guide, some Silicon Valley investors are nudging election officials toward an innovation that prominent coders and cryptographers warn is downright dangerous for democracy.

Voting by phone could be coming soon to an election near you.

Hopefully, the deceased will not be disenfranchised by this new development.

What a crock ... !! Get off your fat a$$ and go to the polls ... on voting day.

There should be no absentee voting except for the out-of-country military. No motor-voter, no early voting, no post-election day voting (harvesting), no mail-in voting, nada.

Make national voting day a holiday if needed.

I’d like to see it although it doesn’t help when illegals are “registered” and the voting staff only care about that, even if they know the person is here illegally.

In all my many decades living here in California, I’ve never been asked for my ID when voting. I just give my name, they cross it off a list and I vote. Anyone could vote if they use a name on the voter rolls. If an illegal is “registered”, the voting staff won’t check their status or ask for an ID. Sucks. We need the purple finger method, as well as a check of legal status.

So, at the end, they have a list of people that haven’t voted and anyone can vote in their place.

What you describe has zero integrity. This is insane.

Then add dead people and illegals that are “registered”...no wonder CA has so many people voting D.
