Pocahontas, when her face is seen or her name is heard there is only one thought:
“Pow Wow, the Indian boy
loved all the animals in the woods”.
The Adventures of Pow Wow was a cartoon tv series
back in the 1950’s.
Granted, he was a little boy, and
Warren is supposedly a she.
However with today’s gender discrepancies
who really knows for certain.
As to Indian Heritage, in the movie
“A Man Called Horse”
the Indian was played by the blonde, Richard Harris”.
As to his having/not having ‘high cheek bones’,
unable to judge.
Lastly, the name Warren does bring up bitter memories
of the prior election debate when Pastor Rick Warren didn’t have the guts to confront BO’B and the lies he told.
His performance that evening lost him all respect
from this direction.
He - Just another television evangelical preacher.
She -Just another lying, snarky weasel politician.
V K, you said, "the name Warren brings up bitter memories".
Actually it's the opposite for me. I had a Great Uncle (?) named Warren or "Warry" Morse as he was called.
And my Dad knew him and encouraged me as a teenager to tag a ride with Warry and his wife to watch their great nephew play summer baseball on a semi-pro team on Cape Cod.
The baseball was good fun -- there were probably more ball players than spectators at the game, but the skill level of the teams was excellent.
Yet the reason my Dad got me involved with Warry was not the baseball. It was because Warry had won a high medal of honor during the Korean War (which medal I never really learned). And it wasn't as if my Dad and Warry were big buddies.
It's that my Dad sought out Warry Morse precisely because he was a man of honor and wanted me to be around a guy like him.
And as you'd expect, Warry never talked about his wartime experiences. His countenance was cheerful and upbeat though he was softspoken: Warry never made any little speeches about lessons in life. He was a humble guy who seemed to enjoy his place in the world without much material comforts, just the opportunity to watch youth grow up with solid values and joy. A few years later I heard Warry died of a heart-attack while mowing his lawn.
So I have to thank you, V. K. Mentioning the name Warren brought back memories of two great men in my life: Warry and my Dad.

Charlamagne got more truth out of Elizabeth Warren in 10 minutes than Chris Wallace gets out of democrats in years... Pay attention to the Charlamagne... he's NOT easy to fool... an 'old school' type journalist.
Thanks for the ping pundit.
