I wished President Trump would deny him to be released.

I’m not sure this is up to him. I believe it is only up to the parole board...I could be mistaken.

IIRC, he killed the CIA officer with his teeth.

Should be considered a POW in a war they declared. Let him go when it’s over.

Im not sure this is up to him. I believe it is only up to the parole board...I could be mistaken. it's not up to the President, and there is no longer any Parole Board in the federal system. If a convict is not written up for violating prison rules, he automatically gets 15% off his sentence.

They never should have brought him back here to the U.S. Pursuing criminal charges over this kind of thing involving a CIA officer in a foreign country has all kinds of potential problems in a U.S. court.

He could deny him early release, I suppose. But if the sentence was 20 years, that’s all she wrote.

The most under-reported aspect of the ‘American Taliban’ story is that John Lindh is Exhibit A in the wonders of LGBT parenting. That’s right. His dad is an out-and-proud gay. Not an excuse for what he did or in any way an argument for leniency toward him, but it goes a long way in explaining how he got so screwed up.
God bless the Spann daughter. Poor kid lost her dad because of this jackass acting out against his LGBT pop.

I dont know why Ive thought he was a pawn/tool of the US and that he was whisked away to prison here in order to save him. Was there some connection between this guys father and HW? My brain is foggy.
I do know that Brennan had Allison Spann over to his house and office a few years ago. She talked about her visit on a local news station in Alabama. Brennan was all about cyber crime/terrorism being his biggest concern. She was very impressive. I figured Brennan was trying to lure her to DC. And thats where she is now.

By pursuing criminal charges against an enemy combatant, we would waste 100s of thousands of dollars in legal costs. Why?
