Men are afraid to mentor women after #MeToo and it hurts us all: study

Men are scared of women now.

LeanIn.org and SurveyMonkey’s new #MentorHer poll reveals Friday that 60% of male managers report feeling “too nervous” about being accused of harassment to interact with women in “common workplace” activities such as mentoring, socializing and one-on-one meetings.

That’s a 32% spike from 2018, with an additional 36% of men saying they now actively avoid women in junior-level positions — effectively chopping down their shot at climbing the corporate ladder.

“The vast majority of managers and senior leaders are men,” says Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO, SurveyMonkey board member and founder of LeanIn.Org, in a statement. “If they are reluctant even to meet one-on-one with women, there’s no way women can get an equal shot at proving themselves.”

~snip~

Women — and especially women of color — don’t get the same amount of mentoring as men, “which means we’re not getting an equal seat at the table,” Sandberg says. “It’s not enough to not harass us, you need to not ignore us, either.”

Men are scared of women now.

That, of course, is a crock. Notice the author's name and you get an idea why he might say that.

But despite that garbage, the article does point out the real harm that femi-nazis have done to women in the workplace.

They made their bed.

My son has a PhD in physics and 20 years of experience at a large defense contractor. The three people in positions above him are all women with less education and experience.

The leftist solution, of course, is even more punishment. Massive fines and imprisonment for failure to mentor.

Mike Pence has made an irrefutable point, If you are alone with a woman in a business or professional setting, you are subject to being blackmailed or ruined.

You can lose your home, job, family and fortune due to a false claim. Who isn’t scared of that? A masochistic?

They are wise not to do so, ...who needs the aggravation, headache, possible law suits and ruined reputations?

Serves them right, the SJW’s, PC Pink liberals, wammin liberation, and femanazis “hate all men, especially WHITE men” movement brought it upon themselves.

Nobody wants to get sued or rape-hoaxed or have to deal with a legion of PC terrorists for the innocent mistake of interacting with the wrong person.

You’re safe if the other person is white or oriental and male. Any other case has unacceptable risk, to the point of guaranteeing a problem if you deal with enough people.

Why stick your head in a blender voluntarily? If that’s how you’re going to go out, you may as well go out fighting.

Of course they are afraid of them now. What did these radical, professional, accusatory complainers think would happen?? Sexual harassment DOES happen, but it isn’t epidemic. Look at what the democrats pulled out of the sewer to attack good men, and now good men everywhere will think twice, or thrice, before they unknowingly hire/promote a Christine Blasey Ford/Feminazi/SJW. You’d have to be crazy to NOT be afraid.

Stay away from women and other certified victim groups in the workplace. They can have you fired or arrested in a second and you have no recourse. Being kind to them doesn’t matter because they can’t see the kindness.

When I was teaching, I always had an open door policy when meeting with students. I weighed their privacy concerns with my being possibly targeted by an upset student, and decided in my favor.

Make up your mind, bitch. Feminism has made women toxic, now feminists are shocked (SHOCKED, I tell you) that men steer clear of them.

Hey feminists: Lick this treefrog!

What? You don't want to? It's poisonous?

Hah … now you're starting to get it.

I wouldn't say *afraid*.

Men should not have to live in fear of being accused of any inappropriate behavior.

However, men would be crazy to not be very cautious.

And I can't say as I'd blame them one bit.

Pence took a lot of grief over that either during the campaign or shortly after the election. After all the #MeToo stuff came out afterwards, he looked pretty smart to thinking people

I was in a full parking structure yesterday, minding my own business, walking to my gas guzzling SUV when a fairly attractive 30 something female walked out from a blind spot behind a pickup with a camper and ran right into me. I am 6’1”, 210 pounds, she was 5’4-6” and slender. I immediately jumped back and said “Excuse me.” I could tell her first instinct was to scream. I froze and asked if she would please proceed on her way on her intended direction. She put her nose up and left. It occurred to me that this could be an ambush so I made sure access to Mr. Smith was OK, did a pocket inventory, and proceeded to my vehicle. Of course she was on her phone with her full attention. Could of been a bad situation for yours truly.

That’s not uncommon. Neither is men underlings cleaning up the less experienced boss’s mess. And the Boss skates free of responsibility.
