Sen. Kamala Harris
(D-Calif.) dismissed speculation that she would be a sought-after running mate to balance out a presidential ticket, instead calling current Democratic front-runner Joe Biden a great potential vice presidential nominee for her.
“I think Joe Biden would be a great running mate. As vice president he’s proven that he knows how to do the job,” Harris said at a campaign stop in New Hampshire.
Harris is often touted as a great potential running mate to add diversity to a Democratic ticket should she fall short in pursuing the presidential nomination herself.

It’s the latter, I think. But that’s not the way she wants you to read it.
IMHO, Kamala Harris has a virtual lock on the VP nomination. She is blowing smoke if she thinks she will get the nomination. I think she also knows that but but she also knows she has to go through the motions.
She is the only candidate so far who meets the full Lib Demographic Spec for the job: Not White, Not male. I’m betting it will be Biden-Harris in 2020. I’m also betting they will lose.

Incorrect, the children of foreign nationals are born with multiple nationalities.
Natural born citizens are naturally citizens because they have only one nationality and cannot possibly be anything else, thus are naturally citizen.
The founders specifically rejected “ born a citizen”

It’s not so much dislike as it is to insist a natural born citizen means born in the US of American parents, whether naturalized of native. I don’t think this is the definition of a NBC, but there is a vocal contingent here who’ll tell you Kamala cannot be elected because her parents weren’t American citizens.
