The New Mexico governor’s office paid about $4,000 for a bus to transport 55 Central American asylum seekers to Denver early Sunday morning in an arrangement negotiated between nonprofits in both communities, a spokeswoman confirmed on Tuesday.

The office of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham coordinated with Annunciation House, a nonprofit that works with migrants along the El Paso, Texas/Juarez, Mexico border, to send the asylum seekers to Denver.

I’m currently working in SW NM for the next month at least. Spending the night in Deming which just declared a state of emergency. The other night the Border Patrol dropped off about 100 illegals at the McDonalds across the street from my hotel. They now have opened up a shelter at the fairgrounds and are asking the BP not to drop off illegals in town to fend for themselves.

Ex-Governor Martinez was on Fox and Friends this morning and spoke of the problem in Deming and other cities in New Mexico - overwhelming crowding and non-governmental agencies left to care for them. And the “sanctuary” city of Santa Fe says “do not send them here.”

Laura Ingraham says tomorrow night she will highlight the problem in New Mexico on her show at 8 p.m. MDT.

The answer is to deport them and cut off everything taxpayer related so the others self deport.

I completely agree, Mr. Logical but that's not happening. In the meantime, my opinion stands - But! I didn't say the caravans had to get there. I just want tons of viral videos showing many caravans headed for San Francisco. I know San Fran would never allow them to reach the city and the liberal freakout would be epic! Epic!

Oh, they (SF) would most certainly allow them in. If you think otherwise, you don't know SF, or the surrounding areas.

No, the caravans must not be sent to SF, cause they will arrive and they will add to CA's House of Rep #'s...and not to the far more conservative central valley or north eastern CA Rep numbers.
