AG Barr appoints ‘bulldog’ federal corruption-fighter John Durham to probe origins of Russia hoax

With the appointment of the US Attorney for Connecticut to investigate the origins of the probe into specious allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, a troika is now in place to get to the bottom of the biggest political scandal in American history: the weaponization of the federal government’s law enforcement and intelligence community to sabotage a rival presidential campaign. It is already public knowledge that the US Attorney for Utah, John Huber, was appointed by former AG Sessions to investigate the Clinton Foundation and surveillance abuses. Inspector General Michael Horwitz is said to be investigating how the FBI handled the Steele dossier and Steele himself, as well as Stefan Halper, a CIA and FBI asset who attempted to lure George Papadopoulos into incriminating the Trump campaign by planting intelligence with him.

The appointment of Durham was not publicly announced, but reporters from outlets such as Fox News, USA Today, and the New York Times were quietly informed of the move.

So, who is John Dunham, and why was he appointed?

Fox News says, “Durham is known as a ‘hard-charging, bulldog’ prosecutor, Fox News is told.”

In addition, Fox tells us:

In January, House Republican Reps. Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows wrote to Durham seeking a briefing, saying they had "discovered" that Durham's office was "investigating [former FBI General Counsel James Baker" for unauthorized disclosures to the media."

Durham does have a history of going after official corruption in federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies. The New York Times:

"John H. Durham, the United States attorney in Connecticut, has a history of serving as a special prosecutor investigating potential wrongdoing among national security officials, including the F.B.I.’s ties to a crime boss in Boston and accusations of C.I.A. abuses of detainees."

Note to John Durham: you should have locked up Mueller regarding Whitey Bolger. Don’t let the evil bastard off the hook this time. FINISH THE JOB.

We’ll see how tough he is or if he is another Deep State crony of guys like Wray, et al. While I’m betting there is still some information/intelligence/emails/texts, that aren’t public knowledge, there’s truckloads of evidence that is public, that should have many of these players awaiting indictment, trial and conviction under the NDAA. They attempted an coup on a duly elected President of the United States. They lied in court to do it. They suborned perjury. They destroyed evidence. They leaked classified intelligence. All of this is known. Not one is in custody.

The NDAA, if I’m not mistaken, allows someone to be detained indefinitely, if they’re suspected of committing an act against the United States. Well, outside of an actual attack, ie ‘93 Trade Center bombing, Oklahoma City, ‘01 Trade Center-Pentagon-Pennsylvania field, what else is there? Attempting to hack the power grid and shut down the country? Attempting to overthrow the President, by whatever means they could conjure up, short of violence?

The Feds use local jails to house folks, while they’re being processed after an arrest, waiting for their bond hearings or going through a case if they can’t afford bail. In Atlanta, they used to use Atlanta Corrections. The people were in a separate part of the jail that the feds basically rented from the city. I say we toss McCabe, Page, Baker, Rice, Comey, Yates, Brennan, Clapper in the DC system while they’re awaiting their respective hearings. Making sure they’re in a pod, with the rest of the folks that DC Metro has locked up. No special treatment. Just in GenPop, like every other crackhead, crack dealer, junkie, car thief, armed robber, murderer, burglar, etc etc. Lets see how long it takes before one of them starts spilling the beans.

Trump has been expanding Gitmo since he took office. My bet is that is where they will be housed as they await their military tribunal trials...

Too nice. I want them in the worst inner city jails in the country...LA, Atlanta, Baltimore, DC, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, NYC. In GenPop with all the rest. Believe it or not, they’d be among the people they say they care about so much. Might give them a chance to rehabilitate some of them.

I’ll bet the idiot dems are sorry they weren’t nicer to President Trump.

They are so stupid. It’s hard to believe that, in the end, President Trump was going to be in the catbird seat and they could have stored up some good will. They have NO foresight, no smarts to behave a little better toward to the one person who can stop whatever discomfort they will have in the future.

Things are truly coming together for our President, the best president evah.

If he is so good at other than covering up cover ups, why is Mueller not locked away today for what Durham investigated about the Boston office/Bulger crimes on Mueller’s watch?

This investigation should be speedier than the Mueller crap.

The latter was intended to drag on for years, and to generate enough rumors and innuendo to hand the midterm elections to the Demorrhoids.

“John H. Durham, the United States attorney in Connecticut, has a history of serving as a special prosecutor investigating potential wrongdoing among national security officials, including the F.B.I.’s ties to a crime boss in Boston ...”

Whitey Bulger? So why are Mueller and his merry men still free?
