Since March 31, 2019 the CDC has confirmed more than 600 cases of the Candida auris fungus across the U.S. Over half of those cases occurred in New York.
The fungus has been found in hospitals and nursing homes, and may be deadly for those with weakened immune systems such as the elderly, newborns and the chronically ill.

Trump should tell the CDC to declare an emergency on the Southern Border as contagious disease continues to pour over.

Just something that ought to be pointed out...the focal point (where you tend to notice it)...are hospitals or health clinics. The hint here....they aren’t cleaning these establishments to the degree required, and it easily spreads out. So if you need to visit a hospital for services or to visit a friend....you need to really pay attention to sanitation habits, and using alcohol wipes. Getting the CDC hyped up about this? Why not tell the hospitals and clinics to do proper sanitation and clean their locations.

The author is under the mistaken impression that Schumer cares about the danger this fungus poses to newborns because Schumer and his Democrat cohorts are a far more dangerous fungus than Candida Auris when it comes to babies.

But Democrats would never dream of shutting down the influx of illegal aliens who are carrying diseases.

Drug resistant fungus? Are the fungi resistant to IV iodine or Vitamin C? Is it really an emergency if local doctors are limiting their approach to prescription drugs and antiseptic wipes as tools? Sounds more like a money grab than a genuine desire to help the sick and advance the science. When did we stop "thinking outside the box"?
