You took the words out of my mouth. This hits home with me because my father enlisted in the Navy after Pearl Harbor and ended up in the Supply Corps in Australia for five years. During that time, in order to be able to supply Adm. Halsey’s PT boats with shaft seals, he took it upon himself to have them produced in Australia. Unfortunately, the Aussies didn’t have all the equipment necessary to produce them to BuShips Design, so he made a minor change to the design to facilitate local production. The change actually made the part easier to change out and do it under way instead of having to pull the boat out of the water. At the end of the war, a Navy lawyer showed up in his office in Melbourne to inform him he was going to be courtmartialed for “tampering with Bureau or Ships design.” Fortunately, he out ranked the lawyer so he ordered a couple or SP’s to take the guy back to the airport and see to it that he was put on the next plane out. Never heard another word! Lawyer are scum, Military Lawyers are pond scum!

Behenna’s Mom was an attorney who worked for either a city in OK or the State of Oklahoma. She fought hard for Michael and made a comment once that the civilian courts would never get away with what the UCMJ did in her son’s case.
I recall that the Persecution suppressed some key evidence that would have exonerated him, he was railroaded from the start.

Now lets get Allan West’s record cleared. Soldiers do soldier things because they are soldiers, its what they do. ......blah blah Geico save 15%. Officers are there to take care of their people and accomplish their mission. If they are over protective, I see nothing wrong with it. Sometimes they are faced with situations that may not be beyond a reasonable doubt and require prompt special handling to safe guard those in their command. Its saying damned if you do and damned if you don’t. When stuck in a corner, you have to decide quickly. In the military you are guaranteed that $#!t will happen, so be prepared, and carry extra TP rolls. (And that’s all I have to say about that.)

In my view it’s criminal what they put him through and took those years from him and his family.
