The peace treaty will be between the Beast and Israel, who will make a peace covenant with Israel for 7 years and then break it at 3.5 years. It is not a treaty with the Arabs, per se. The Beast will in a sense tell the rest to back off Israel, at least for 3.5 years.
All building towards that eventuality.

The Greek word behind “mark” is “charagma” - that means a tattoo.
Revelation can’t be hyper interpreted like that. The greek and latin terms mean a literal mark or brand in the hand or fore-head. Remember what Christ said...”it is not what is inside that defiles a man, it is what come out of him.”
Now, a high tech tattoo can have electronic features added to it but it will be an obvious mark or branding. The Nazis branded their jewish concentration camp prisoners. Satan and his demons want to see us branded like cattle to his service; it is the ultimate humiliation that can happen to any human being!
