President Trump on Sunday retweeted a post from Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. that said Trump’s first term should be extended by two years as payback "for time stolen by this corrupt failed coup."

Falwell, an avid and vocal supporter of Trump, was alluding to the recently completed investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election that special counsel Robert Mueller conducted.

"After the best week ever for @realDonaldTrump - no obstruction, no collusion, NYT admits @BarackObama did spy on his campaign, & the economy is soaring. I now support reparations-Trump should have 2 yrs added to his 1st term as pay back for time stolen by this corrupt failed coup," Falwell tweeted.

Trump followed up the retweet with tweets of his own alleging two years of his presidency were "stollen" that "we will never be able to get back."

It is funny how everyone is taking this so serious. It would be terrible to walk through life like this. Buried in this humorous post is a point. Two years of his Presidency was destroyed by a group of powerful people misusing the power of the intelligence agencies, a bias press, and secret courts.

The power of Trump’s tweets is in the power of the number conversations it starts, underlying message, and the ability to change minds. When I first read this message I understood that he was pointing out how the hateful and vengeful Democrats destroyed his good economy message over a false premise. That he was never treated fairly (not even close to fair) by the press.

Anyone with half a brain cell would understand the underlying message. Yes this message has the power to change some minds on how he was treated by fair minded democrats and independents. And with so few words.

He is going against a press that is 90% unfavorable. It is amazing that he that he can advocate a position that destroys a press narrative in so few words. This message boldly proclaims he was treated unfairly.

Despite the posts above, the press and democrats fear his tweets because they have power. Words have power. This silly posts resonates because of the content, not in spite of it. We, everyone is talking about it.

Under the Constitution there is no way to extend the term by two years, and both Falwell and Trump know that. This suggestion just makes them look nutty.

I think it is done to drive the MSM and the leftists nuts, instead. Trump enjoys lighting their heads on fire.

I would really like to see Trump tweet, to the crazy Dem who suggested that Trump might not leave the White House if loses a close election in 2020, that “I am indeed strongly considering not giving up the White House if the event of a close loss, especially if I gain the majority of the popular vote.”

Heads exploding....

Where is your sense of humor hiding, DoodleDawg? Have you checked it at the door along with all the Progressives?
