Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday ordered the Israeli army to invade Gaza following a number of attacks from Hamas. Hamed Ahmed Abed Khudri, the Hamas commander, was killed during one of Israeli's return fires, the country's military said.
"I instructed the military this morning to continue its massive strikes on terror elements in the Gaza Strip and ordered it to reinforce the troops around the Gaza Strip with tanks, artillery and infantry force," Netanyahu said in a statement. "Hamas bears responsibility not only for its own attacks and actions but also those by Islamic Jihad, for which it pays a very high price."
The death toll has risen. As of now, three Israeli men and nine Palestinians, including two pregnant women, have been killed.
United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, The Israelis have every right to defend themselves.
Ive seen video that we cant validate just yet but where there have been strikes on homes, civilian populations. These rockets were fired with civilians around them in order to protect from return fire. This is terrible," Pompeo said during a Sunday interview on Fox News. I hope that we can return to the ceasefire that had been in place for weeks and had been holding significantly before this.
The Israel Defense Fund took to Twitter to provide an update to the world:
That could happen.
Ilhan Omar as the new Pancake Girl? Sweet!
Somebody noted that if IDF reserves aren’t called up, it’s not a serious invasion.
Maybe so, but any incursion into Gaza will be preceded by the mother of all artillery preps. IDF will put their 155mm SP howitzers to wicked use and I am certain that Israeli counterbattery already knows where each & every Qassam rocket came from.
Civilians will be warned on their Iphones; they already know what’s going down. But the Egyptians will be fortifying their border with Gaza.
Time to fill the deserts with Hamas and Islamic Jihad bodies. Pile them deep and wide but hide them from view.
The desert can hold a lot of bastards so let’s do it.
My prayers of God’s protection over Israeli citizens, leadership and her armed forces. May they trample their enemies under their feet.
Dont miss the Shwarmas in Ben Yehuda or the chocolate croissants in the coffee shops. You are safer in Jerusalem during a war than a Detroit 7-ll in broad daylight.
Why do you want to hide them from view?
St. Pancake the 2nd
Here goes the media with it’s ‘tallies’ again. Does it do that with other conflicts. Only when it is the U.S or Israel involved. They couldn’t care less otherwise. And the hamas sleeze feed the media the stats for their side which are mostly @ullshit.
And old Benj is doing ‘they will pay a high price’ routine again. Which pretty much means the can gets kicked down the road again and Gaza just grows in population all the more (currently has highest birthrate in the world).
I don’t want to pollute the view with death assholes. Deserts can be quite beautiful on their own. Why spoil the view?
The only thing that will get their attention is territory. Every attack, whether by rocket or sappers crawling through tunnels, every attack that manages to reach Israeli territory should be answered by annexing land in reprisal.
I agree with you 100%, and have been saying the same thing for a long time. The rest of the world will squawk a lot, but like putting up the barrier fence, it will work wonders in changing their behavior. The whole Gaza Shithole is only 365 square kilometers, so if they take one square kilometer for each Israeli killed are these savages, it wont be long before they get the message.
I, too, have been suggesting this for years. It should be announced ahead, so that when the Arabs start with violence, it can be said loud and clear to the world that they have decided by their violations to give up x amount of land.
The croissants look amazing. I also want to try mutabak.
