Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday ordered the Israeli army to invade Gaza following a number of attacks from Hamas. Hamed Ahmed Abed Khudri, the Hamas commander, was killed during one of Israeli's return fires, the country's military said.
"I instructed the military this morning to continue its massive strikes on terror elements in the Gaza Strip and ordered it to reinforce the troops around the Gaza Strip with tanks, artillery and infantry force," Netanyahu said in a statement. "Hamas bears responsibility not only for its own attacks and actions but also those by Islamic Jihad, for which it pays a very high price."
The death toll has risen. As of now, three Israeli men and nine Palestinians, including two pregnant women, have been killed.
United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, “The Israelis have every right to defend themselves.
“I’ve seen video that we can’t validate just yet but where there have been strikes on homes, civilian populations. These rockets were fired with civilians around them in order to protect from return fire. This is terrible," Pompeo said during a Sunday interview on Fox News. “I hope that we can return to the ceasefire that had been in place for weeks and had been holding significantly before this.”

Clean out the nest of violent critters and reclaim the land called Gaza as part of Israel. They won’t make peace as long as the United Notions and Euro sympathizers continue to feed them.
Load ‘em up and ship them to Germany. I hear Frau Merkel is always looking for more grifters of the mussie variety?
They no doubt know who authorized these attacks. If civilians, even Palestinian civilians, have lost their lives due to these attacks and reprisals, it is not right or fair that the Hamas leaders who ordered them should survive.
It is not enough, however, to simply kill the attackers themselves. No one cares about them, not even their own people. Killing them transmits no pain at all to Palestinian leadership. The only thing that will get their attention is territory. Every attack, whether by rocket or sappers crawling through tunnels, every attack that manages to reach Israeli territory should be answered by annexing land in reprisal.
That will get their attention. Just killing a few fools at the bottom of the food chain will not.
Pray for Israel.
Solution: For each rocket fired into Israel from Gaza, permanently annex one meter of Gaza from the North.
Eventually, the terrorists can be so tightly squeezed, they go to Egypt or die being crushed from the North. Don’t care much which.

Iran is providing these missiles to the Palestinians in Gaza. Their strategic purpose is to study and understand the Iron Dome defense mechanism by forcing it to be deployed while they watch. Firing long range stealthy missiles from Iran proper and short and medium range missiles from Syria is Iran’s primary deterrence and offensive capability against Israel in the event of shooting and an attack on their nuclear facilities. The Palestinians are being used.
