In reality, her “rebuking” would go for practically all the “moderate” “mainline” churches (Methodist, Episcopal, Lutheran, Presbyterian...) that have decided it is better to fit in with contemporary liberal teaching on issues like abortion and homosexuality than stand opposed as the Scriptures say.
I have a younger brother who used to be a Believer and is now an open homosexual. He’s also become very liberal. I pray that Christ will call Him back but I am prepared mentally if it never happens. I’m not openly hostile to him but he knows where I stand.

In the case of your brother; it is GOD who is 'hostile' to his lifestyle. We; who point it out are NOT being hostile, but loving; not wanting any to perish.
