2 down, 41 to go.

I predict that they will leave Vermont, Delaware, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska alone. At least for the time being.

Why is it that republicans will never fight like this?
Oh well. Trump will win in a landslide, no matter what they do, if he and Bill Barr do their jobs. Bill the Bull Barr. And that’s meant to be a compliment.

Much the same in FL. The next thing ya’ know, courts will order states to allow homos to marry. Who needs a legislature when a few blackrobes are more than happy to legislate?

I for one will be thrilled not to be in a one-mile wide stretch of Marcia Fudge’s district that connects majority-black parts of Cleveland and Akron. The gerrymander we now have saved the black district to the east, but trashed the Kucinich district to the west. I’m not sure redistricting will add more dem votes. She does not even make so much as a fake attempt to represent the small towns in this corridor.

Cincy, Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton, should account for the bulk of the districts. IIRC, 725,000 population equals 1 district.

My sense is that those should be as compact as possible geographically. Once you get to 725,000, then you start another district.
