I’ve seen interviews with Karl Rove and McConnell, and both of them had a very strange reaction to questions regarding investigation of the origins of the hoax. I’m betting that there are almost as many republicans sweating this out as there are democrats. We also know that most of the media were involved in it up to their eyeballs.
Rove just wants to move on. He’s tied to the Bushes. Can’t wait to see what comes out. Wouldn’t be surprised if he and McConnell knew exactly what was going on the whole time.
