“There’s another report that everyone has forgotten about involving James Comey alone,” diGenova said. “That will be out in two weeks. That report is going to be a bombshell. It is going to open up the investigation on a very high note, and there are going to be criminal referrals in it.”

Brian Cates twitter thread building now re; Rosenstein and Sessions.. I like his take on things. Sessions bashers won’t. Lots of links to his reporting embedded.

I’m not against that notion.

The fact still remains that the democrats, the deep state, and the MSM each participated in an attempt to deny Trump his term in office.

Did the Republicans fail to push back? Yes. Did they seek to support Trump? No.

I still say the Democrats, the Leftards tried to pull of a coup. I’m not convinced the Republicans did much more than fold their hands and watch.

Is that actionable? Maybe.

It’s nowhere near as actively participating.

I agree. To what extent it was better or worse, I can’t tell though.

Move on, really? This hack actively plotted and conspired to pull off a coup in our country. He is just as guilty as Comey, Brennan or Clapper. With any luck Horowitz will refer his traitorous ass for prosecution next month.

You stated: “I have to say, I like this letter. Both personal praise for the President and reaffirming the rule of law.”

I wish he practiced the rule of law. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/08/declassified_did_rosenstein_make_false_statements_to_the_fisa_judge.html

The weak “move on” attitude was significant in getting us where we are. A society of no consequences is loved by sociopaths .

“Attorney General William Barr in a statement said Rosenstein served the Justice Department “with dedication and distinction.”

“His devotion to the Department and its professionals is unparalleled,” the statement read. “Over the course of his distinguished government career, he has navigated many challenging situations with strength, grace, and good humor.”

The fix is in. Nobody is going to jail. Not criminal Democrats or their Deep State GOP enablers.

Graham and other elected GOP publicly threatening a sitting GOP POTUS not to fire a recused cabinet member is far more than “folding their hands.” In fact, it is beyond the pale and without parallel in modern American history.

This long pretentious resignation letter sounds like he started writing it back in 7 Grade. YEARS in the drafting. What a freaking self-important windbag........

Rosenstein is an adept careerist but he actually wrong-footed himself a couple of times.

When Rosenstein wrote the memo justifying the firing of Comey, the gist of the letter was that Comey was very unfair to Hillary in the way Comey held a press conference criticizing Hillary before coming to the punch line that she was not a crook. Rosey indicated that that was not an appropriate way for an FBI Director to act.

With his memo, Rosey figured he had hit the sweet spot in terms of DC establishment thinking, since everyone from left to right had been beating up on Comey.

But he misperceived the Democrats. They weren’t really mad at Comey. Comey was playing his role. Obviously, the fix was in and Hillary would not be indicted for her crimes. But who to present it to the American public? Instead of having the Obama/Clinton hack Loretta Lynch do it, better to have the guy with the carefully cultivated Boy Scout image do it. And to make it as believable as possible, he had to criticize her somewhat. Everyone knew she crossed all sorts of lines. It was best to have Comey slap her on the wrist in public before exonerating her of crimes, the more to sell it to the public.

Rosey uncharacteristically did not perceive that. So he was caught off-guard when the DC establishment was angry at him for his role in the Comey firing. His penance to the deep state was to appoint Mueller as special counsel.

Secondly, it appears he was surprised not to be immediately fired after appointing Mueller. President Trump’s lawyer John Dowd said in an interview that immediately after appointing Mueller, Rosey was hunkered down behind his desk expecting to be fired. But he was not fired.

I think Rosey thought he would be fired and as a result go out a hero to the Uniparty Establishment, and thereby he would still be in the running for law professor positions at prestigious law schools or senior partner positions at lucrative liberal law firms. He would have atoned for his mistake in agreeing to serve briefly in the ‘Hitler Drumpf’ administration and his all-important future career would not have been jeopardized by that ‘mistake.’
