I agree. It is possible that both stories are true—Trump’s and his. Possible that Trump turned him down and then the Murdochs leaned on him for other reasons, and he went overboard satisfying them because he was resentful of Trump. Whatever the real full story he does not come out well.

He comes across something like Omarosa or Christie, not much sense of the bigger picture and focused only on self.

WHO indeed?
A friend rather than Smith. That answer would be very difficult. He has so many, you know. Another unanswered question to add to the pile.

This is the state of American journalism. It’s primary purpose these days is to advance and settle political scores.

“when he came back he was mysteriously a nevertrumper.”

Those re-education camps can be effective, apparently.

It continues to amaze me how easily lawyers—and now judges—can change hats from white to black.

A lawyer and a judge (lawyer with a black robe) wouldn’t LIE, now would they?................

Before Trump’s tweet, it was only a rumor for most folks (me included).

And, apparently, to discuss those who enjoy anal sex.

I wonder how many sword fights Nap and Shep have had in the men’s room at Fox.

"Also asked for pardon for his friend. A good ‘pal’ of low ratings Shepard Smith,”"

______________________

..... written as if Napolitano was asking for a pardon for Shep Smith.

Set me to wondering what poor Shep may have done ...... maybe he backed up to the wrong attractive guy at the bar?

It was as my old English teacher would have said, “Poor sentence structure.”

The writer meant that Nap was asking for a pardon for a mutual ‘friend’ of his and Shemp’s, I believe.”

Also, a POTUS can pardon only FEDERAL CRIMES, not state or local, so whatever this person did, it had to be a FEDERAL CASE...................
